The Kobaru Hoso Liner is a compact fineliner available in 12 great muted colors. At just over 4" long you'll find this a nice compact size to pair with your planners or small notebooks.
To avoid smearing, don't highlight over gel pen ink unless it's oil based. It also depends what paper you use these on. The swatch example is done on Tomoe River Paper in the Common Planner. The color tends to sit on paper a bit longer before it dries compares to regular paper.
